09 · Case Study
CASE STUDY · ALLISON TRANSMISSION

A full-scale military transmission display
— built from CAD, finished in weeks.

Challenge

Government trade-show display required from CAD alone — no physical prototype, no assembly hardware existed. Aggressive timeline. Show-quality finish required. Durable enough for repeated worldwide shipping.

Solution

Full-scale 3D printing from CAD; clean, cure, sand, prime, paint, clear-coat. Custom chrome-plated hardware. Dedicated stand with shock-absorbing casters. Custom wood shipping crate engineered for the display.

Outcome

Delivered within the accelerated timeline. Display performed reliably through repeated transportation and exhibition handling. Became a major attraction at the show. Customer was extremely pleased with quality and execution.
